  17. I was wondering if I could get some feedback from all of you  
  18. Lightwave animators out there.

  20. I have been using a Toaster since it came out, (was a beta test site  
  21. back a few years ago).  Anyways, I was in the world of production for  
  22. 4 years and had to get out of it to get a job that paid real money  
  23. :).

  25. However, I still have the itch and got an A4000 and ordered the T4000  
  26. board.  My brother has a 2000 with the 4000 board and he wants me to  
  27. get back into doing graphics with him.

  29. I will be using the system only for producing animations.

  32. The question that I have, is that I hate to trash my MII decks with a  
  33. frame transport and was wondering if anyone out there is using either  
  34. the DPS card that writes frames to a hard drive or else is using a  
  35. writable LaserDisk.

  38. I have also considered using the new IOMEGA Floptical drive that puts  
  39. 21MB on a 3.5" disk.  I could render 1 sec of animation per disk and  
  40. IOMEGA is promising a 40MB version later on in the year.

  43. Before I purchase the system, I want to check on all avenues.  Of  
  44. course I would like the cleanest output I can get.

  46. Of course we are waiting for the SCREAMER
